Hey there fellow GMs, I guess Monday will have to work for me. I might just send you a list of my picks, or I might leave the draft early depending on how much work I have to do. See you then? Yoni
I just spoke with Jack. He suggested we do the draft at 1:30 PST on Monday. How does that sound for everyone? We could do it at my place. Also, Horowitz has volunteered his place.
Does anyone want to bring in additional teams? I've sent out about 5 emails asking to discuss this and nobody has replied, so I'm going to go for it unilaterally and say it is fine for each of us to invite one additional GM: Horowitz how about Kevin, Ari suggested Assouline, Alex wants to invite Gary, Jack wants to invite Frank. I'm cool with all of this. Yoni, do you want to invite a new GM to join the draft?
Welcome to the Eliahu Cup official blog. The Eliahu Cup is an ice hockey playoff pool championship trophy awarded annually to the National Hockey League playoff pool champion. Commonly referred to as the "bagel cup" because of a tradition of placing a bagel on top when awarded. The Eliahu Cup is a receptacle that enables holding and celebratory drinking of wine, preferably Maneschevitz, out of the cup by the winning General Manager. Cup winners keep the cup in their care over the course of the year.
The Eliahu Cup hails from Tel Aviv, where it was purchased in December '08 after a heavy haggling session. Returning from Israel, the Eliahu Cup was stored for a week in London before going to Vancouver.
