Here's a quick breakdown of where we currently stand. Alex is leading with 95 points, but the race is tight. Ari is one point on his heels with 94. Jack and MOD are tied for 3rd with 90. At a cursory level, with only 77 points, Yoni looks weak by comparison but this superficial impression should fool nobody. Last year's champion has a few tricks up his sleeve and Crosby and Malkin are their names. Looking at the number of points for each remaining player, Yoni shines bright with the two top players. For the betting man, Yoni and Alex are the ones to watch during this round. Alex enters the round with the top score; while Yoni enters with the top scorers. And both GMs have 4 players remaining. Horowitz is a different story. We're just glad he's still in the game. Good for you, Horowitz.
